Brain Connections-Advances in Research and Support

Brain Connections Public Event at University College Cork

UCC Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation took part in the Brain Connections public event at University College Cork. The event brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and caregivers to explore the latest developments in brain health.

There was a great interest at our AI4HOPE PROJECT stand, led by Professor Suzanne Timmons. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the project’s innovative approach to supporting people with dementia and their caregivers through digital health tools. Many also got to experience our Virtual Reality component firsthand, which sparked plenty of curiosity and engaging conversations!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, we were delighted to share our work and hear your valuable insights!
