Dementia Lab Conference
We are excited to share that our partners Univerza v Mariboru, Fundación INTRAS and Universidade do Porto participated in the Dementia Lab Conference 2025 in Portugal with a workshop presenting the participatory framework of AI4HOPE Project!
The conference brought together designers, AI researchers, and healthcare professionals to explore how AI can support ethical, human-centered dementia care.
🔑 Key Takeaways:
✅ AI should enhance autonomy and well-being — not replace human care.
✅ Personalization and social connection are crucial for long-term engagement.
✅ Ethical AI must safeguard privacy, dignity, and user control.
